Adoptions From Foster Care
One of our clients is a foster parent and wanted to adopt their foster child. The client was desperate because a distant family member had been identified by the State for possible adoption even though the child had been in the foster home for almost two years.
We were able to advocate for that client in court, try the case based off of the manifest best interests of the child and maintain placement for that child with our clients. Today, she has been adopted by our family and will remain in her forever home.
